Here in North Carolina on the Crystal Coast, we have an amazing array of native flowers we can grow to feed honey bees!

Have you considered a “natural area” in your yard where you can grow a variety of native flowers, without formal placement? Don’t be afraid to grow flowers you’ve never grown before. Can you have a seed swap/exchange with friends, family or neighbors?

I hope you’re encouraged to try growing many different type of flowers without fear - FEED THE BEES so they can feed themselves and you! Offering many different flowers (nectar, pollen) produced subtle flavorings to honey and your own honey could become your favorite!
