2024 Swarm Catching Contacts

What we need to know:

  1. What is the location of the swarm?

    1. Please provide a physical address

    2. Is this inside or outside of a structure

  2. How long has the swarm been present?

  3. How big is the cluster of bees?

  4. Could you send a photo of what you see?

  5. Can the bees be accessed from the ground, or will I need a ladder or additional equipment?

  6. Have you contacted other beekeepers prior to contacting us?

Honey Bees are typically docile and less defensive when they swarm. Please do not attempt to manipulate the swarm or the bees in any way. Please be patient and wait for the beekeeper to arrive. While waiting, keep children and pets at a safe distance from the swarm. Once you have made contact with the beekeeper, try to keep them updated if anything changes. The more informed our swarm catchers are, the faster they can respond and the safer the swarm capture can be.

If you cannot reach the swarm contact for your area or if you need assistance, please text or call:

Sarah Adams (828) 356-4811.
