Benefits of taking a Beekeeping 101 Course: The NCSBA has a program known as the Master Beekeeper Program. At the end of the course, you will have the knowledge to be able to pass the Certified Level written exam. That means you will have the knowledge to start, and successfully maintain your own honey bees! Then, you take what you've learned and put it to use! After 4 months of running your own starter apiary, you will be able to take the Practical Examination, and upon satisfactory completion, you can become a North Carolina State Certified Beekeeper!
